Borrowed Land: Hong Kong
Bill has begun work on a series of performance videos filmed in Hong Kong to complement last year’s Macau series. These will explore the performance of landscape in the reclaimed lands of the Pearl River Delta.
Performance: 29th June Guangzhou Art Museum. Bay Area Contemporary Art Biennale.
As part of the Bay Area Contemporary Art Biennale, I will direct a performance on 29th June. This will be inspired by the phenomenon of women who go to art spaces in China to take photos of themselves but who have no interest in the art itself.
